Split-Fire’s Excavator line of 2-way log splitters are ideal for high production of large unmanageable rounds. Whether for busting stumps or splitting for commercial and outdoor wood boilers, these 2-way wood splitters are capable of splitting the largest of rounds. Mounted on the excavator boom, operators have the ability to pick up and maneuver logs while splitting from the comfort of the interior cab controls.
Split-Fire’s 4409 32 ton 2-way excavatorlog splitter is designed for commercial use. With a hydraulic system producing 2900psi, the 4409 2-way excavator log splitter is capable of splitting 40” – 48” logs. Fitted with a machined stud welded to the inner slide tube the interchangeable 4-way wedge and 2-way knife can be swapped in seconds. With an excavator mounted log splitter there’s no need to have a second operator at the log splitter as it can be operated with ease from using the controls from inside the cab.
For added convenience while using the 4409-excavator mounted log splitter, a bolt-on grapple hook can be attached; allowing the operator to pick-up and maneuver logs from inside the cab.
*Grapple Hook is not available for Center Mount Standard & 30″ Stroke options.
