Available in both upright and inverted configurations, the skid steer log splitter can either be operated from internal cab controls, or a valve on the top of the machine. Inverted configurations offer the ability to split large unmanageable rounds from the comfort of the skid steer cab (with visibility of the knife position via the yellow flag); while upright configurations are controlled via valve operation to offer a more conventional splitting experience. Due to Split-Fire’s combination of machine features that reduce fluid and sliding friction, the most efficient delivery of splitting force is ensured.
