The SPLIT-FIRE® 4003 Series 5” 3 Point Wood Chipper is designed for CONTINUOUS HEAVY DUTY USE. Fitted to a tractor producing 20+ horse power, the PTO powered 3 point hitch wood chipper is self-feeding and capable of chipping untrimmed branches, bark, vines, brush, leaves, and stringy wood to deliver consistent ½ to ¾ inch wood chips or mulch!
Split-Fire’s 3 point hitch wood chipper is super low maintenance, and requires no annual overhaul given its low parts count, and HEAVY-DUTY COMER GEAR BOX (3-to-1 ratio). For larger tractors outputting 50+ horse power the chipping rotator / flywheel can be upgraded to a 3 Blade System increasing production capacity.
SPLIT-FIRE® 4003 Series also features reversible chipping blades for durability, an extended in-feed chute design for safe operation, and a chipper discharge chute that’s adjustable 360° so you can capture or place the wood chips and mulch where needed.
