The Model 640 is alternatively known as the “Workhorse” because of its size and versatility fitting many different sizes of tractors and skid steers. This model is available with Hydraulic (640H) or PTO (640P) drive options.

This model includes galvanized grate screens which prevent larger pieces of material from entering the hopper. As a safety measure, the grate prevents human contact with the agitator. A lifting lug is used to safely install or remove the unit from the tractor, while additionally keeping the grate secure.

Two sizes of extension rings are available for additional hopper capacity:

• The 6" ring adds 2.5 cubic feet of capacity = 9 cubic feet

• The 12" ring adds 5 cubic feet of capacity = 11.5 cubic feet

The 640H provides hydraulic flow control, which reduces hydraulic flow from the tractor into the distribution drum, and allows the operator to control distribution quantities.
