Electronic controlled drive system
With the new electronic controlled drive, the machine can be driven and used to suit any requirement. This is possible thanks to different operating modes implemented by Weidemann.
Standard:
- Auto mode: Ensures the usual 100% performance of the machine.
- Eco mode: Once the vehicle has reached the desired speed, the engine speed reduces to 1900 rpm, thus reducing noise and saving fuel.
Option:
- M-Drive: In this mode, the manual throttle is used to set the diesel engine’s rpm, with the driving speed or control pressure being controlled by the drive pedal. This means there is no longer any need for inching, thus greatly supporting the execution of fast Y-load cycles.
|
Efficient trailer operation
The 7 m telehandler models can tow a trailer with a trailer load of up to 16 t due to different, optional trailer couplings. The option to tow a trailer extends the machine’s application range and provides more flexibility as there is no requirement for additional towing vehicles.

The Weidemann benefits at a glance
All-wheel steering, low centre of gravity and excellent stability
Thanks to the all-wheel steering and the undivided frame, Weidemann telehandlers are particularly manoeuvrable and very stable. The low centre of gravity of the machine further enhances its stability.
|
Driver assistance system vls (Vertical Lift System)
The VLS (Vertical Lift System) enables a fluid working principle and, through a partially automated telescoping movement, facilitates working in a complex operating environment. The near-vertical lifting or lowering movement of the machine improves its stability. The following vls modes are available to the operator:
- Bucket mode: For loading trailers
- Stacking mode: For working on shelves or stacking bales
- Manual mode: No support by a system, e.g. for loading works
The vls has proven itself well across all sectors and our innovation has received several international awards.

Sturdy telescopic arm and enormous lifting height
The telescopic arm is designed to be sturdy and stable and is placed in the centre of the machine, which causes little distortion. Parallel guidance is hydraulic. The sliding components in the inner tube of the telescopic arm require no maintenance. All important hydraulic lines are ideally protected against external influences. With our compact Weidemann telehandlers, you reach amazing lifting heights with the best stability and compact dimensions.
|
Equipment variety
Weidemann telehandlers feature comprehensive and sturdy standard equipment. Depending on the application, the engine, drive, hydraulics or tyres can be individually configured. Your Weidemann is always custom-made.
|
High pushing power from the planetary axle
The drive via the planetary axle increases the torque on the wheel, thereby improving pushing power. Due to the optimal ratio between the pushing power and machine capacity, work is both flexible and economical.
|
100 % differential lock
The connectible 100% differential lock (in the front axles) provides maximum traction and thrusting force if necessary. It also keeps the tyre wear low (switched off during normal operation).

Optimum ease of servicing
Easy-to-open engine bonnet
The engine bonnet with gas compression springs can be opened upward with just one handle for regular service and maintenance work. The hydraulic oil tank, air cleaner, engine oil filling, oil-level dipstick and coolant are therefore easily and quickly accessible - a big plus for convenience.
|
Easily accessible lubrication service points
Significant points of lubrication are amalgamated in a central bar at the rear; this makes them accessible, thus making it quick to lubricate the machine.
|
Central lubrication system
A central lubrication system is also available as an option. This reduces the maintenance effort because the lubrication service points do not need to be supplied manually with lubricants.
|
Tank for DEF
The tank for the urea solution (DEF = Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is easily accessible in close proximity to the diesel tank and has a filling volume of 19 l.
|
Air cleaner
The air filter is placed so that it can be quickly and easily changed.
|
Tool compartment
A number of tools can be stored in the tool compartment under the cabin.

Operator First: A motivating workplace
Good working environment
Thanks to the efficient ventilation, heating and air-conditioning system, and the thought-out ventilation concept, you will always have a pleasant working environment. The fresh-air filter and the well-placed air nozzles ensure fresh air in the cabin. An automatic air-conditioning system is also optionally available.
|
Rear windscreen
The left window’s gap ventilation provides the operator with an additional supply of fresh air. In addition to this, the rear windscreen be opened.
|
Ergonomic working area
More space in a cab that has been designed and developed according to the latest findings in safety technology and ergonomics. Plenty of legroom, clearly arranged instrument clusters, which are arranged according to a colour system, a comfortable operator’s seat and an optimal visibility of the attachment. All operating elements are within reach and the operator always has the most important machine information available to them via the optimally positioned display. A working area that motivates and fully supports the operator.
|
Good visibility to the right
Visibility to the right is often poor with many telehandlers. Weidemann ensures good visibility, courtesy of the large-sized right window, the low positioning of the telescopic arm and the steeply sloping engine bonnet. This means you always have optimal visibility of the area to the right of the machine and of the right mirror.
|
Good load visibility
The benefits of a telehandler come to the fore when it comes to stacking loads high. Visibility above the machine is also crucial to ensure the load is positioned safely when working at a height. With Weidemann telehandlers, the cab and windscreen are designed so that the operator can see the load at all times, even at maximum lifting height. Windscreen wipers can be affixed to all windows. An optional extra is a heated windscreen to the right and rear. As a result, good all-round visibility is guaranteed.
|
Front grate
The optionally available front grate on the new telehandlers T7035 and T7042 provide additional safety protection against falling objects. It is constructed in such a way that visibility to the front continues to be well guaranteed.
|
FOPS grate and sun protection blind
The view-optimised FOPS grate (Falling Object Protective Structure) provides the operator with the highest level of safety protection against falling objects without restricting visibility. In addition to this, there is a practical, pull-out blind, which can be used as glare protection and a sun blind.
|
Ergonomic joystick
The joystick sits securely and comfortably in your hand. The control is both sturdy and sensitive. This means you always have the machine and its key functions under control. The continuous function of the 3rd control unit is easy to activate using the keypad; it can then be proportionally controlled with ease using the joystick, using the freely adjustable control wheel which can be moved in both directions. The thumb-wheel can be used for proportional telescoping, enabling working speed to be individually adjusted. The electrical functions can also be operated momentarily or latching on the joystick.
|
Colour-oriented operating concept
All operating elements have been clearly arranged in an easily accessible position within the cabin. The console with the most important switches and the joystick is fixed to the seat and moves with it. The operator’s intuitive orientation is supported with the colour-oriented operating concept, whereby individual functional groups (switches) are assigned particular colours:
- Green: Hydraulic functions (e.g. 3rd control circuit).
- Orange: Drive functions (e.g. travel direction, drive, manual throttle, brake)
- Red: Start/stop button
- Grey: Electrical functions (e.g. light)
|
Adjustable steering column
Both the height and the angle of the steering column and steering wheel can be individually set according to the operator’s requirements. This ensures ergonomic comfort for operator, enabling them to work without becoming fatigued.
|
Air-suspended comfort seat
The optionally available, air-sprung comfort seat enables each and every operator to individually adjust it and work with the machine. The joystick console, including the armrest, forms a unit with the operator’s seat, which is adjustable and moves with the seat. As a result, it is possible to work with the machine free of fatigue, even for a longer period of time. In addition to this, the seat is heated for the lower temperatures.
|
Vibration-damped working area
Vibrations and impacts are intercepted by the machine thanks to the cabin damping with hydromounts. Your body is very well-protected and you can work for longer both relaxed and fatigue-free.
|
Optimally placed display I rear-view and front-view camera
With the optimally placed 7” display, the operator has all of the important information available to them at a glance. Both a rear-view camera and front-view camera are optionally available with their own display.
|
Good visibility due to LED work lights
The new LED work lights and the StVZO (German road traffic regulations) lights (standard: halogen or optionally: LED) provide a light output of 1,000 lumens (optionally 2,000 lumens) and, as a result, make working comfortable and safe, even in the dark. Furthermore, other work lights are an option.
|
Easy entry
Large, inset steps
The 7 m telehandlers have a very wide entry with large, inset steps. As a result, it is possible to enter and exit the machine both comfortably and safely.
|
Brake-inch pedal
In Weidemann machines, the hydrostatic 4-wheel drive is combined with the brake pedal. This enables the machine to “inch” its way forward and creep to a standstill. By lightly depressing the brake-inch pedal, the operator can drive slowly in crawl speed with millimetre precision and lift quickly whilst the engine is running at full speed. Fully depressing the pedal applies the brakes to the machine. The advantage of the brake-inch pedal is the optimal distribution of engine output. It is also impossible to stall the machine.
