The STIHL BT 131 earth auger is designed as a one-man tool and as such it has a single-hand multi-function handle, with all engine control functions integrated into the left handle. During operation, you can guide the earth auger smoothly and precisely, as the large support cushion always sits comfortably on the body during drilling. In the event that you come across a hard layer while you work, the QuickStop drill brake ensures greater safety: if the STIHL BT 131 earth auger gets stuck in the ground, the brake is triggered as soon as the brake lever touches the user’s thigh. The drill stops immediately and can be easily unscrewed from the soil.
