Standard Features and Options
Discharge conveyor
Discharge conveyor for optional front door opening can be trailer mounted (feed not weighed on conveyor) or tub mounted (feed weighed on conveyor). Choice of fixed or sliding flat conveyors with right-hand, left-hand, or reversible discharge. Flat with incline and fixed incline conveyors with right-hand or left-hand discharge also available.
Vortex® screw
Patent Pending Vortex® Screw mixes quickly without compromising feed quality. Constructed of welded steel with 5/8" cupped fliting. Choice of multi-angle or cone top design. Pre-drilled to accept knives.
Optional Tub Mounted Magnet*
Encased in stainless steel, this magnet is mounted into the Patz Vertical Mixer tub wall on a hinged assembly for effective removal of tramp metal from rations.
Exclusive to Patz! This tub mounted magnet is Patent Pending - it must only be installed on Patz Vertical Mixers. Factory and field installation is available on all Patz Stationary, Trailer, and Truck Mount Vertical Mixers.

RAPTOR™ Knives
Engineered to complement our standard knives, the Patented RAPTOR™ knife features a forward-facing design to dig in, hook, & cut bales faster and more aggressively. Built to last with AR steel, the RAPTOR™ knife is ideal for high-hay rations including large round or square bales and/or baleage. RAPTOR™ knives should be used in the first two or three slots from the top of the screw down, depending on knife formation. Available for all Vertical Mixer Series. Choice of three knife sizes. Electronic Scales And Extension Arm
Increase your profits by accurately weighing feed ingredients with a dinamica generale®, Weigh-Tronix® or Digi-Star® scale. Easy-to-use, programmable electronic scales allow precise formulations. Basic read-up, read-down models and batching models with memory for different menus are available. A signal light or a signal buzzer indicates when desired weight is loaded. Remote display and a controller to zero the scale from a remote location are also available. Include manufacturer's 3-year warranty. Optional indicator extension arm improves viewing when loading from right or left side by extending the indicator an additional 15" from viewing platform.
Camera Package
View rear of mixer from tractor cab while backing up or discharging feed from optional rear commodity door. Includes 7" LCD monitor and weatherproof, shock-resistant infrared camera for night vision.
Self-steering rear axle
Available on the 1,100 cu. ft Patz 2400 Series II Trailer Twin Screw Vertical Mixer: Self-steering rear axle with heavy-duty spring suspension and four super single truck tires. Rear axle self-steers utilizing lateral forces that are applied to the tires from contact with ground. The forces steer the implement in the appropriate direction, minimizing tire wear and stresses on axles, hubs, spindles, and suspension. pipe.
Drive Package
Choice of 2-speed manual shift, hydrostatic push button Powershift, or Autoshift (shifts transmission automatically) drive packages. Includes oil cooling system.
Hydraulic control center
Optional hydraulic control center allows total control of multiple discharge doors all with the use of just one tractor port.
XH (Extra Heavy) Units
XH (Extra Heavy) units feature a welded steel tub with 3/8" thick walls and a 3/4" reinforced bottom.
