It is designed and built to meet the needs of professional contractors for Stump and Root Grinding, Fallen Tree Grinding and Soil Blending to depths up to 20 inches. MTH represents the excellence of the FAE product range in terms of technology and productivity. It is designed to be mounted on high power tractors and built to work with loose rock and slabs. The side gear transmission allows uniform and consistent rotor RPM with higher torque. The FAE Variable System crushing chamber is an innovative design solution and it guarantees to obtain optimum results. The FAE Adjustable Rotor System is adjusted through hydraulics and can be moved up or down for working depths (the lower the rotor, the larger the crushing chamber becomes allowing more material to be crushed and mixed). The traction effort and output of the tractor is reduced due to the rotor penetrating the ground while the body of the machine remains on the surface (this results in a reduction of fuel consumption and a higher working speed). The crushing chamber is protected by internal HARDOX® layers replaced easily without removing the rotor. The HARDOX® counter knives and grill positioned on the back door are designed for adjusting the size of the final product. It has two separate rotor and multiple tooth options for operating in various conditions and applications. Available with a special tooth system that can work while stump grinding and rock crushing simultaneously. The standard equipment includes: • Double transmission with casted gear boxes, • PTO drive shaft with cam clutch, • forged tool holders made of heat treated steel, • "Double steel cage system" machine shell (WELDOX® steel) provide an effective protection against dust, • adjustable HARDOX® counter blade, • bolted forged rotor axels, • adjustable grid on rear hood, • variable shredding chamber, • front hydraulic protection hood, • rear hydraulic, • protection/grader hood, hydraulic top link, • inner bolted HARDOX® protections, • teeth type R Option: Possibility to have the rotor equipped with tooth type "G/3".
