The four-cylinder design works by applying equal force on each corner of the bucket, allowing it to open and close in synchronous motion. Because of its ability to load and unload vertically, the Rotating Clam Shell works extremely well in confined work zones. The timed jaws feature load-holding valves installed directly on the cylinders while the high-torque rotator delivers 360 degree continuous rotation for additional versatility.
