HTA 86 BATTERY POLE PRUNER: TELESCOPIC SHAFT GIVES OPTIMAL REACH
The STIHL HTA 86 battery pole pruner – with a total length of up to 390 cm –will provide you with useful working support for convenient maintenance of medium-height trees. Those who will benefit from the highly ergonomic design that the stable rectangular telescopic shaft provides include yard and landscape maintenance professionals, specialist tasks in forests and public authorities, as well as people working in domestic environments. The rotatable clamping sleeve lets you quickly increase the shaft length by up to 120 cm as needed. The shaft remains rigid against twisting and bending forces.
The ¼” PM3 saw chain allows you to cut the wood the way you want to – easily and precisely. Thanks to high cutting performance, you can efficiently carry out clean cuts. The premium EC motor combined with a battery from the STIHL AP-System ensures powerful drive with consistent performance. It runs so quietly that you can even work in noise-sensitive areas such as residential settings.
The ergonomic control handle is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users, as is the integrated self-resetting locking switch. The handlebar with anti-slip guard ensures that you can work efficiently and safely at all times, even in rainy conditions. Other benefits include:
Tool-free oil tank cap with semi-transparent oil tank for fast refilling and constant level monitoring
Sturdy branch hook for grabbing loose cuttings from trees up to 5 m tall
All battery power tools within the STIHL AP-System have been designed for professional users and daily work, even in adverse weather conditions. With that in mind they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.
